Last updated: April 2026
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the LMDR and VelocityMatch platform, including the website at www.lastmiledr.app, mobile applications, APIs, and all related services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with this policy.
This policy exists to protect the integrity of the driver-carrier matching ecosystem and to maintain a professional, safe, and fair environment for every participant. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Driver Conduct
Drivers using the LMDR platform are expected to uphold the following standards:
- Accurate profile information: all personal details, employment history, and qualifications must be truthful and current.
- Valid CDL and DOT credentials: you must hold a valid Commercial Driver's License with the correct class and endorsements for the positions you apply to.
- No falsified experience or endorsements: misrepresenting years of experience, endorsement types, safety record, or equipment qualifications is strictly prohibited.
- Professional communication: interactions with carriers and recruiters through the platform must remain respectful and professional.
3. Carrier Conduct
Carriers and motor carrier companies using the platform agree to:
- Accurate job postings and pay information: all listed positions must reflect actual openings with truthful compensation ranges, benefits, routes, and equipment details.
- Authorized profile claims only: only authorized representatives may claim or manage a carrier profile on the platform.
- No misleading hiring terms: bait-and-switch tactics, undisclosed fees, or misrepresented employment terms are prohibited.
- FMCSA regulatory compliance: carriers must maintain active operating authority and comply with all applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
- Respectful treatment of applicants: all driver applicants must be treated fairly, without discrimination, and receive timely responses to their applications.
4. Recruiter Conduct
Recruiters operating on the LMDR / VelocityMatch platform must adhere to the following:
- Authorized representation: recruiters must be duly authorized representatives of a carrier or recruiting agency with a verified relationship to the carriers they recruit for.
- No spam outreach: unsolicited mass messaging is prohibited. Communication frequency is governed by our Soul-based guardrails to protect driver experience.
- Accurate placement reporting: all reported hires, placements, and candidate status updates must accurately reflect real-world outcomes.
- No poaching from active placements: recruiters may not solicit drivers who are in an active placement or onboarding process through the platform.
5. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on the LMDR / VelocityMatch platform:
- Providing false or misleading information in profiles, applications, job postings, or any platform communication.
- Scraping, automated data collection, or reverse engineering of any part of the platform, its APIs, data feeds, or matching algorithms.
- Harassment, discrimination, or hostile communication toward any platform user, including language or behavior based on race, gender, religion, national origin, disability, or any other protected class.
- Creating multiple accounts for the same entity to circumvent platform rules, abuse referral programs, or manipulate matching results.
- Circumventing the matching or payment system, including arranging off-platform transactions to avoid platform fees.
- Using the platform for illegal activities, including but not limited to fraud, identity theft, money laundering, or trafficking.
- Sharing login credentials with unauthorized parties or allowing third-party access to your account.
- Contacting drivers or carriers outside the platform to avoid fees, circumvent compliance checks, or bypass the matching process.
6. Content Standards
All user-submitted content—including reviews, company descriptions, driver testimonials, and forum posts—must meet the following standards:
- Content must be truthful and based on genuine experience. Fabricated reviews or testimonials are prohibited.
- Content must not be defamatory, libelous, or malicious. Constructive criticism of carrier practices is welcome; personal attacks are not.
- Content must not contain personal attacks, threats, slurs, or discriminatory language.
- Content must not infringe on intellectual property rights or contain confidential business information of third parties.
LMDR reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards without prior notice.
7. Enforcement
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in the following actions, at LMDR's sole discretion:
- Warning: a written notice identifying the violation and required corrective action.
- Temporary suspension: restricted access to platform features for a specified period.
- Permanent termination: removal of the account and permanent ban from the platform.
LMDR reserves the right to remove any content, disable any account, and take any action necessary to protect the platform and its users. Decisions regarding enforcement are final. Repeat or severe violations may result in immediate termination without prior warning.
8. Reporting Violations
If you observe a violation of this policy, we encourage you to report it. Reports can be submitted through:
- Email: levy@lastmiledr.app
- In-app reporting: use the "Report" option available on user profiles, job postings, and messages within the platform.
- Phone: (214) 531-3751
All reports are reviewed promptly. We take every report seriously and will investigate in confidence. Retaliation against anyone who reports a violation in good faith is itself a violation of this policy.
