This policy explains how Last Mile Driver Recruiting ("LMDR") uses cookies, local storage, and similar tracking technologies when you visit www.lastmiledr.app.

In addition to cookies, LMDR uses similar technologies including local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels to operate our platform and understand how it is used.
Essential Cookies
Always ActiveRequired for the platform to function. These handle session management, authentication via Firebase Auth, and CSRF protection. Without them you cannot sign in, maintain a session, or securely submit forms.
Analytics Cookies
PerformanceWe use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-E261FFTPVX) to collect aggregate data on page views, user journeys, and feature adoption. This helps us understand which parts of the platform are most useful to drivers and carriers so we can improve them.
Functional Cookies
PreferencesThese remember your preferences such as theme settings, search filters, and notification choices. We also store your driver profile ID in localStorage so you stay connected to your account across page loads.
Marketing Cookies
FutureLMDR does not currently deploy marketing or advertising cookies. In the future we may use conversion tracking for carrier acquisition funnels and retargeting to reach drivers who have shown interest in specific opportunities. We will update this policy before enabling any marketing cookies.
Certain third-party services we rely on may set their own cookies when you use the platform:
- Google Analytics — measures site usage and generates aggregate reports. Google's privacy policy applies to data they collect.
- Firebase — manages authentication sessions and stores security tokens used for login.
- Stripe — processes payments for carrier subscriptions. Stripe sets cookies to detect fraud and manage checkout sessions.
- SendGrid — delivers transactional and notification emails. Email tracking pixels may be used to confirm delivery and measure open rates.
We do not sell cookie data to any third party. Third-party providers listed above are contractually bound to use data only for the services they provide to LMDR.

Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. You can typically:

Please note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in or using core platform features.
Opt out of Google Analytics: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics across all websites.
6. Local Storage & Session Storage
In addition to cookies, LMDR uses browser storage APIs that allow us to save data directly on your device:
- localStorage — persists until you explicitly clear it. We store your driver profile ID so the platform can associate your session with your account, and user preferences such as theme settings.
- sessionStorage — cleared when you close the browser tab. We use it for temporary funnel session data (e.g., progress through a multi-step application form) and navigation state.
You can view and clear this data through your browser's developer tools (typically under Application > Storage).
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes we will post a notice on the platform and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
